Andrew Song is a senior from Palo Alto, California. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs and is a Yale Energy Studies Scholar. On campus, MIDN 1/C Song is the Battalion Commander of the Yale Naval ROTC unit and serves as a board member for the Yale Executive Committee. In his summers, he has interned with the National Security Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the Defense Innovation Unit. His writings have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Military Review, Air Force Journal for Indo-Pacific Affairs, and the U.S Naval Institute Blog. In his free time, Andrew likes to play golf and read poetry.
